Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: August 7, 2026
This policy explains how membership billing, cancellation, pausing, and refunds work at Attending. Medical services are provided by Attending Medical Group, PLLC; billing is administered by Attending Health, LLC as the Practice's authorized billing agent. This policy is presented again, with your specific plan details, when you enroll.
Membership billing
- Membership is billed monthly in advance ($179/month, or $249/month for the physician-led tier), on the calendar day you enrolled, to the payment method on file.
- The annual prepay option bills twelve months in advance at a 15% discount.
- Your membership fee covers the clinical services listed at /pricing: visits with your clinician, secure messaging, dose management, care coordination, and clinical review.
- Medication and laboratory services are not included in membership. They are billed separately, by the pharmacy or laboratory, at their prices. We do not mark up medication. Prescription medication requires evaluation by a licensed clinician and is never guaranteed as part of membership.
Cancel anytime
You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period, through the patient platform or by emailing care@myattending.com. After cancellation you retain access through the end of the period you have paid for. We do not charge cancellation fees, and we will never make you call a retention line to leave.
Pause instead
You may pause membership for up to three months per year at no charge — billing stops, your records and your clinician relationship are preserved, and you can resume without re-enrollment. Pausing is built into how we practice: stopping medication for a period, or maintaining without visits, is a normal part of long-term care.
Refunds
- First visit guarantee. If, at your initial consultation, your clinician determines that our care is not appropriate for you — for any clinical reason — your first membership payment is refunded in full. Being told "no" costs nothing.
- Monthly plans. Payments already made for the current period are non-refundable once the period has begun, except as stated above or where required by law. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid further charges.
- Annual prepay. If you cancel an annual plan early, we refund the unused full months remaining, calculated at the discounted monthly rate you paid.
- Billing errors and duplicates. Charged in error or twice? Email care@myattending.com and we will correct it promptly — no forms, no friction.
- Medication and labs. Because medication and laboratory services are dispensed and billed by third parties, their refund policies apply. Prescription medication generally cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed, under pharmacy law.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and retry. If payment is not resolved within 14 days, membership is suspended; your clinician will not stop care abruptly, and any active prescription plan will be handled clinically, not punitively.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge — nearly every issue is faster to fix directly. We respond to all payment disputes with our records of enrollment, consent, and services provided.
