FAQ

Asked, answered — including the awkward ones.

Getting started

Who exactly is treating me?

A named, licensed clinician with a deliberately small panel — the same person at every visit. Every treating clinician is listed on our clinicians page with credentials, board certifications, and licensed states.

Do I have to do a video visit?

Yes. A scheduled video consultation with your clinician is required before anything is prescribed. There is no questionnaire-only or asynchronous approval path.

Which states are you available in?

We treat patients only in states where our clinicians are licensed. The current list is on our states page. If we are not in your state yet, you can join the waitlist with just your state and email.

What does signing up on this website involve?

The website collects your name, email, and state — nothing else. All health questions, intake forms, and clinical records live inside our secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal, which you enter after the handoff.

Clinical

What if I'm not a candidate for medication?

Your clinician will tell you directly, explain the reasoning, and discuss what makes sense instead. The consultation fee structure does not change that answer.

Will I always see the same clinician?

Yes — that is the design of the practice. You are assigned one clinician at the start, and that clinician conducts your visits, reads your messages, and manages your plan.

Do you treat minors?

No. Attending treats adults 18 and over.

What happens if I stop?

You can pause or cancel at any time. If you stop, your clinician can discuss what that means for your care.

Medication and pharmacy

Do you sell medication?

No. If medication is clinically appropriate, your clinician sends a prescription to a pharmacy, and the pharmacy bills you at pass-through cost. Prescription medication requires a prescription from a licensed clinician following an evaluation, and is never guaranteed.

Do you prescribe compounded GLP-1 medications?

Our formulary is FDA-approved medication dispensed by licensed pharmacies. Compounded medications are not part of our standard offering, and we don't use them as a cost workaround.

How is the medication chosen?

By your clinician, based on your history, your labs where ordered, and your response over time — not by what a pharmacy partner stocks. Results vary from person to person, and your plan is adjusted accordingly.

Money

How much does it cost?

Membership is $179 per month with a dedicated nurse practitioner, or $249 per month with a physician as your dedicated clinician. Both tiers include video visits, messaging, dose management, and lab review.

Can I use my insurance?

Membership is a flat monthly fee and does not require or bill insurance. Medication is billed separately by the pharmacy. Coverage varies — we will tell you what your options are.

What isn't included?

Medication and laboratory testing. Both are billed separately at pass-through cost, with no markup.

Is there a discount?

One: pay twelve months upfront and take 15% off — $1,826 for the year instead of $2,148 on the $179 membership. We never discount the headline monthly price.

Can I cancel?

Yes — pause or cancel at any time. Details are in our refund and cancellation policy.

Privacy

Is my health information private?

Yes. Clinical care — every intake form, message, and record — happens inside a HIPAA-compliant patient portal, separate from this website. This website holds no health information at all.

What does this website collect about me?

A name, an email, and a state — only if you choose to provide them. No health questions are ever asked on this site. See the privacy policy and Notice of Privacy Practices for the details.
